This Month’s Featured Artists
LUPEN
Described by NME as a 'dazzling virtuoso' delivering 'skeletal, finger-picked songs', Lupen is primarily a storyteller, drawing on folklore traditions along with the darker side of the psychedelic dream by way of Syd Barrett and Sibylle Baier. His live set is primarily intimate and acoustic, accompanied by omnichord and subtle sound design to bring a cinematic aura to performances.
Lupen has recently provided main support to cult singer-songwriter Robyn Hitchcock at his 2023 UK show at Ramsgate Music Hall, and has previously performed at venues such as Bush Hall, KOKO, and Union Chapel, as well as supporting artists including Baxter Dury, Sean Ono Lennon, and J. Spaceman. Lupen is working toward a new studio album, collaborating with a variety of Kent musicians.

POGGY
Poggy's voice is like a raw element calling you back to the wild. Kent based singer songwriter and musician Poggy grew up in a family of 6 on the Kent coastal town of Deal. Music filled the house during these early years and it was through playing, singing and harmonising with her 4 sisters that her musical foundation was cast.
Poggy's debut album mixes elements of jazz, world and folk to create a kaleidoscopic journey through song.

MEGAN MARDROPER
A folksy singer-songwriter based in the market town of Rye. Writing songs to remain sane and connect with people. Career highlights to date include playing ALSO Festival, Broadstairs Folk Week and supporting Ellie Gowers and Elephant Sessions on their UK tours.
Megan has released an album and several EP's and has had music played on BBC 6 Music and BBC introducing.
