Trombone virtuoso Geoff Mason has been touring internationally for over
two decades; first as part of the Coldstream Guards and then as an in-
demand musician with British greats such as Trevor Tomkins , John Horler
and Dave O'Higgins.
A mainstay on London's big band and West End scenes, his own group
showcases a dexterity rarely heard on the instrument, tackling tunes written
by the likes of John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock and Thelonious Monk.
Juggling performing and session work with his position as trombone tutor
at the University of Kent ,his latest release was described by All About Jazz
as "an eloquent quartet session which binds works by jazz masters”.
Expect laid-back tunes, great company, and a welcoming atmosphere that’s all about good food and good vibes. Our new Sunday lunch menu is the perfect pairing — think delicious dishes, a glass of something nice, and live jazz to make it all sing.
