Sunday May 17th, Alan Daniel Tobin
4-6pm Live at the Lighthouse!
Event Information
Join us this Sunday for a unique afternoon with Alan Daniel Tobin, a self proclaimed, " Irish Lights unofficial Commissioner for Light Entertainment!!!"
Alan is a West Cork–based songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist whose music flexes between the sadness and delight of everyday life. Hugely influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, the wild West Cork landscape and his family, his songs carry a deep sense of place, and a minor obsession with lighthouses.
Working from his log-cabin studio, Tobin has released four albums (two solo as ADT and two with his alt-folk band LOWmountain), with new ablum coming out May 15, 2026. He has shared stages with the likes of Glen Hansard, Gemma Hayes and Mick Flannery, and appeared on Other Voices and TG4’s Glór Tíre. Performing with warmth, humour and emotional precision, his live shows move effortlessly between hushed intimacy and soaring, atmospheric moments that linger long after the final note.
